It was built by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime Minister of Jaipur court. Made to face the north direction, away from Rajasthan’s burning sun, Samode Haveli even has an elephant ramp!
Located centrally in Jaipur, it is in close proximity to other wonders of Jaipur like the Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jal Mahal and the shopping and entertainment centers. Samode Haveli is 17km from Jaipur’s airport and is close to the city centre.
Samode Haveli has 29 rooms and suites well appointed with the amenities that are considered standard in modern living. Authentic antiques, fixtures, Rajasthani paintings and family portraits adorn the rooms. The Maharaja and Maharani suites have ceilings covered with mirrored mosaics and paintings that present a stunning image to the viewer. The dining room here is spectacular with its hand painted walls and ceilings.
